“Lisa,

Thanks, I wanted to write a few lines to you.

I am working for a multinational company in Guangzhou, China. We are Venezuelans and relocated here from Japan 8 months ago, when our first son, Marco, was only 2 months old. We have been blessed to have our mothers come and go, but as we planned, that will stop this December after the X-mas Holidays.

Now Marco will stay with the Ayi (Nanny in Chinese) during the day, we hired her the day we moved in, and we think she’s now ready to be in charge of the baby. Only a mother will understand how frightening this could be, I wanted to tell you that the Nanny Toolbox is probably the MOST useful, well-thought, comprehensive tool I have bought since the baby was born. My Ayi has difficulties pronouncing English, but she can read it, now I really feel empowered because we have discussed almost every possible relevant point of my baby’s care.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that you created something wonderful, that is improving the lives of moms in places as far as China.

Thanks a lot!!!”

“I wanted to send a note of thanks for developing The Nanny Toolbox. As a busy mother of two with a full-time career, it is just what the doctor ordered! The Nanny Toolbox has helped us run our home more smoothly, and has also put my mind at ease knowing that the instructions I’ve given to our nanny are clear, detailed, and complete. All those scraps of paper where I scribbled reminders and then pinned to my bulletin board, or placed on my countertop are things of the past.

This tool-kit is a one-stop shop that covers off all the reminders you need… and some you wished you’d thought of on your own!

Thank you for making this so easy for us.”

- Jennifer – Mother of Ethan and Sophie

“When our nanny arrived, I was overwhelmed by the amount of information that I wanted to transfer to her about the intricacies of our household. The Nanny Toolbox helped me convey all of that important information in a clear and organized manner. The pre-designed sheets are a huge time saver… and the author thought of every possible detail!

The Nanny Toolbox definitely helped us get off to a good start with our new nanny and our house runs more smoothly because of it!

Reading the info in the tool-kit literally lifted a cloud from my brain. I didn’t know where to begin and was worried I’d forget important things. It solved that problem for sure!!”

“The Nanny Toolbox is incredible! It really helps my nanny and me to communicate clearly.

My nanny adores the “Approved Meal Planner”. I filled one out for my 8-month old daughter, and it helped my nanny understand explicitly what she could and could not feed my daughter. Knowing that she always had this information available helped give her confidence in her job as a caregiver, and it gave me peace of mind as a mother.

My own personal favourite is the “Weekly Meal Planner”. This form helps me to plan our meals properly for the entire week, and I avoid visiting the grocery store too often.

Thank you so much for putting this together. I don’t know what I would have done without it! It definitely makes my day-to-day life easier.”

“It’s amazing how as parents we can overlook the basics sometimes. Lisa’s approach is rooted in common sense so the basics are covered. But then it goes so much deeper. When I first filled out the Nanny Toolbox’s ‘in case of emergency form’, I couldn’t believe all the simple things I had overlooked. And now, I have such incredible peace of mind.”

“Hi Lisa!

Thank you for letting me take a look at your Nanny Toolbox. You did a great job on it! I’m impressed about how thorough it is. I think you covered everything that I could think of!

I like the way that you have set up all of the forms. It helps to remind the parent of all the things that they want to communicate to the caregiver. It’s great for parents to leave for their babysitters as well. I know when I left a note for my mom to take care of Cole I had a hard time remembering all of the things that I needed to tell her. I definitely think that first-time moms would really like it.

I also think that it will help people to leave all the details that they want to without feeling as though they are insulting the person taking care of their child.

The pages for the caregiver to report back on the child’s day are also great. I know I would really like to get feedback from whomever I left Cole with.

I’m glad that you thought to put all of your forms into a tool that other parents could use. I’m sure that it is going to be a big hit!”

“Thank you Lisa,

Your toolbox is incredible and so detailed. Recently, when I found out that I needed to move on to a new nanny I wanted to get things started on the right foot. When I first saw the toolbox, I couldn’t believe how much I was missing from communicating with my first nanny. I truly believe this toolbox helped me communicate with my current nanny as well with my own needs. Being a stay at home mother, I do help out a lot around the house. However, I am going on my first vacation without my kids and husband next week. After filling out all the pages properly I realized there was so much I needed to tell my nanny and my husband. The sheets are so easy to fill out and use. The toolbox is helping me relax about leaving my family, as I know I have covered all their needs in the toolbox.”

“Lisa:

As a “Granny” I also find the Nanny Toolbox so helpful! When my grandchildren come to visit or stay with me, I now am completely aware of all aspects of their care and routines. No more struggles as to how to please or feed them according to their individual preferences. The housekeeping schedules help me organize my home whenever I have cleaning help come in to assist me. I can let anyone know exactly what I want done and how it should be done!

Thank you for your insights and terrific organizational skills.”
